FUNCTIONAL INTRODUCTION:
SLOT 1 - Diamond abrasives for scissor sharpening.
SLOT 2 - Coarse (carbide blades), for the bluntest of knives.
SLOT 3 - Medium (diamond abrasives), daily useage and ceramic knives.
SLOT 4 - Fine (ceramic rods), final step, to clear up the burr of the knives after sharpening.

CAUTIONS:
1. Do not pull your knife back and forth in the grinder slots, only can pull back.
2. It is normal for the rod on the sharpener to become black after use.
3. After grinding your knife, wipe the sharpener with a damp cloth or rinse with water, then wipe dry with a soft cloth to clean the metal part and ceramic rod.
